Account Manager / Presales Consultant

Job description
Key Account Manager for medical information systems and digital imaging solutions acts as single point of contact to customers for products and services and is responsible for identifying opportunities, creating an account strategy, coordinating and controlling the sales process, managing customer expectations and negotiating contracts. Accounts are a combination of products and solutions of high technical complexity.
In this role he or she will be also responsible for solution design according to the needs of customers including integration of associated systems and act as member of an implementation team.
Main responsibilities:
- Create and execute a strategic account plan
- Act as single point of contact to assigned customer base for our products & services
- Accompany prospective customers from first contact to closing of contract
- Qualification of accounts
- Perform customer presentations
- Demonstrate the products/solutions
- Coordinate and control sales processes
- Being Sales contact in hand-over from Sales to Services
- Assist the Service Manager during proposal & negotiation phase for SMA's
- Create proposals and coordinate quotation process
- Prepare documentation required for propositions (eg. public tenders), quotations and contract
- Prepare and accompany reference-site visits with customers and prospects
- Represent our company at trade fairs
Requirements
- Higher technical education (preferred background in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, medical physics)
- Sales experience in medical branch (min. 2 years)
- Knowledge of clinical workflows and medical applications
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Ability to demonstrate and explain technical specifications of IT and Imaging products
- Understanding of medical imaging and IT business
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and VMWare
- Knowledge of relational databases and network topologies (TCP / IP)
- Basic knowledge of IT storage systems
- Expert usage of MS Office applications
- Self-motivation and eager to learn continuously
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Negotiations skills
- Good knowledge of English (including technical) in speaking and writing
- Ability to organize own work
- Driving license (B category)
- Availability to travel frequently
Additionaladvantages are: CR, DR, PACS, information systems such as RIS, HIS.LIS, CIS , knowledge of medical standards such as DICOM and HL7
