AML Data Analyst

Responsibilites
- Close collaboration within the CCRO Analytics Team - a data science focused team
- Work with subject matter experts in CCRO Chief Operating Officer, Financial Crimes Compliance, IT and operations team to monitor source data systems
- Maintain AML feed verification database, record any change and collaborate with Operations, IT and Financial Crime Compliance Teams to implement controlled IT and process changes
- Close collaboration with the firms data quality teams to identity changes and track impact of improvement
Requirements
Must have:
- A university degree in an area related to Finance, Technology, Business Administration or alternatively you have completed an apprenticeship with further education in a relevant field
- 2+ years' experience in a payment or securities operations role
- Excellent writing, analytical, technical, business requirement specifications skills and be able to multi-task and complete tasks on time
- Ability to run SQL queries, make statistical analysis and interpret results
- Ability to work under pressure and high level of flexibility
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Broad knowledge of financial crime regulatory regime and requirements
- Experience with R/Python
- Knowledge of Excel, MS Access and Visio
- Start-up or research experience
