The Application Support Analyst position is responsible for the support and enhancement of RADS-supported software packages (like for example FileNet, SharePoint etc.. ) to meet the business users in International Paper, primarily working on both US and Global systems.
This person will interact with operational and supervisory personnel within IP and with our outsource partner to provide operations support for business partners. They will interact with other ITSS personnel in Krakow and Memphis to provide the 24x7x365 support services for supported business software packages. They will also participate with the US and Krakow based developers to define, develop and implement upgrades to existing processes.

You will
- Respond to Help Desk Problem Tickets and carry out the corrective actions in a timely manner. Monitor systems processes and resources. Manage users and security.
- Work with users and other IT staff to design enhancements to existing E-business or connectivity platforms, or design new interfacing solutions to meet user requirements. Assist with the creation of prototypes for user approval.
- Gather and communicate business requirements for system enhancements and upgrades. Test enhancements, interfaces between systems and upgrades to ensure that they meet business needs.
- Develop and execute documentation and user training.
- Develop a broad understanding of the business processes which relate to the customer needs
- General Information Technology background, either academic or 3 years of work experience as IT developer, analyst, administrative or support technician.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, experience of working in teams
- At least 2 years of IT systems administration or business applications support experience
- Experience working in Microsoft environment (knowledge of SharePoint technologies – SP 2013 or other documents flow application will be advantage),
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL
- Microsoft Window Server administration, software installation and hardware installation experience.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong aptitude for learning new skills and applications
- Working knowledge of business process areas such as finance, purchasing, sales and marketing, and supply management
