Key Responsibilities
Business analyst function, involving working closely with business stakeholders, and the Treasury IT department, including writing/reviewing Business Requirements documentation, reviewing Functional Specifications, writing UAT plans, performing and/or coordinating with end users the User Acceptance Testing, training end users on new system functionality.
Understand end-to-end data flow and functioning logic of our proprietary Liquidity Risk Management tool to help answer functional queries on the critical Liquidity Risk system by analyzing, diagnosing, and then either solving or referring the problem.
Define Business Requirements and document them, including for data sourcing and reporting, and produce functional specifications accordingly for use by technical team
Perform data analysis to support validation of business requirements and develop prototype of functional solutions
Create and execute test cases for new systems and develop required test data
Support test execution and work with development team for resolution of technical issues identified during test phases prior to deployment of newly developed technical specifications
Provide functional support for the use of new and existing functionality and tools deployed to production environment
- Strong analytical skills and project execution skills
- Ability to create meaningful test data and test cases
- Flexibility and experience in managing multiple tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadline
- Good experience in writing SQL queries for performing functional checkouts of changes implemented by development team
- Ability to understand and challenge business processes, requirements and proposed solutions to define strategic, robust, and scalable solutions in line with project strategies
- Ability to proactively manage timelines, risks, and client to ensure timely delivery of quality deliverables
- Ability to demonstrate self-initiative as well as take direction and escalate issues as appropriate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
- Ability to create Excel/Access/DB proofs of concept to better understand business processes
- Familiarity with bank products and understanding of Liquidity risk domain will be an added advantage
- Experience of working in Agile teams
- Familiarity with IT platforms and understanding of all phases of an application development life cycle and development methodologies
An IT Analyst is sought to support the MI projects sponsored by Global Treasury under the Liquidity Program to enhance Customer liquidity monitoring and reporting capabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations. The primary responsibility for this role is to work closely with business and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technical teams to deliver via technical solutions. The role would require involvement in end-to-end functional testing of the deliverables.
