As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will support fast-tracking of business intelligence dashboard migration and enhancements for Cisco Asset Management products and platform.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large data sets and report on data to various teams and projects
- Develop and enhance tools and scripts to automate data pipeline and reporting infrastructures
These include implementing tools and dashboards to manage sales processes and report/visualize the performance of SMB sales teams and programs
- Implement data extraction scripts to retrieve and transform data as well as perform performance computations using SQL
Required Skills:
- BA/BS degree required, No specific degree or technical field requirements
- 5 years of experience working with SQL, Data Warehousing, and large customer data sets.
- Experience with industry standard BI solutions like Qlik Sense, Tableau, SiSense, YellowFin etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgment.
- Experience with creating data pipelines, ensure proper dimensions and metrics are incorporated.
- Complete ad-hoc analyses to understand team metrics
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English language
Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus):
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written German language
- Experience utilizing Kimball method of Data Warehousing
- Conceptual, logical and/or Physical data modeling experience is a plus
- Industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of multiple IT platforms
- Ability to anticipate future needs and challenges
- Organizational and prioritization skills and effective judgment
- Can make timely decisions with appropriate information.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
