Currently we are looking for the candidate for the position of:
Category Manager
Location: Lodz, Poland
Key responsibilities:
- Category Profiling, Sourcing Strategy Formulation
- Engaging with client stakeholders for opportunity identification, strategy formulation and maintaining relationships
- Perform Supplier Research, Market Research and commodity research to prepare for sourcing projects.
- Devise sourcing plans, prepare RFX, execute Sourcing projects, perform negotiations, drive contract terms discussions with suppliers, contract signature and management, close cooperation with internal stakeholders
- Develop and documenting standard templates to be used for ongoing sourcing activities
- Participate in meetings with potential clients
- Preparing and then following up on any sales quotations made for clients, negotiating terms with the client at a cost best suited for them
Requirements:
- Graduate with 4+ experience in Sourcing & Procurement services
- Proficiency in English
- Hands on experience in handling Sourcing projects for Indirect Categories like Facilities, Utilities, Engineering, Marketing, Professional Services, T&E etc.
- Experience in Category/Sub category profiling, market research & market analysis, category planning, spend analysis, savings estimation, benchmarking, business case creation
- Flexibility & mobility
- Skilled negotiator – develop strategy, identify levers, lead or be part of negotiating team
- Awareness of contractual terms and conditions and clauses
- Strong business communication skills
- Strong customer focus
