Topdeck is experiencing a significant period of expansion, and therefore has an exciting opportunity for a number of Coach Drivers to join their dynamic, enthusiastic team!

The title says it all. As a Coach Driver, your role is to make sure clients are transported safely and comfortably around the most popular countries, cities and sights in Europe. This is quite a big responsibility, and the successful candidates will need to be prepared for a challenge. However, it's also a great way to meet people from all over the world, and an excellent opportunity to combine work with travelling around Europe.

Working as a team with a Topdeck Trip Leader, you will be paid to enjoy the company of a coach load of young travellers who are up for the holiday of a lifetime. This really is a dream opportunity!

Wymagania

Applicants should meet the following criteria to be considered for a position:

• Possess (or be able to obtain) a UK or EU passport;
• Have sound references and a clean driving record;
• Have experience driving Heavy Vehicles; and
• Possess (or be able to obtain) a UK or EU Class "D" manual driving license (Note - if you do not have a manual licence, but are a confident and competent driver, Topdeck can offer advice in obtaining one prior to commencing training)

Topdeck is seeking the best drivers, whose priority is the safety and best interest of our clients. To ensure this, all potential drivers take part in a 7-week on-road training program throughout Europe before commencing employment.

Throughout this period you will be driving around the most popular of European destinations, conducting city driving tours, making "Route Notes", and learning the legalities of driving in Europe. This will be operated under normal coach camping circumstances, with Trip Leaders, Chefs and Drivers, but no passengers. All coaches are left-hand drive vehicles, which are based in the Netherlands. You will be required to obtain a Dutch Medical Certificate in order to drive - this will be arranged at the start of the training program.

Crew are expected to make a commitment of at least two summer seasons. Topdeck offers extremely attractive remuneration packages, in order to attract high calibre candidates. There are nearly no overheads (i.e. no need to pay for accommodation, meals etc.)!

In addition, we offer both new and experienced drivers an opportunity to improve their driving skills, complete basic mechanical training, gain navigational experience around Europe's cities and attain an in-depth knowledge of European driving laws, the coach touring and travel industries and so much more. Topdeck's trained road crew are held in high regard by operators throughout the world, therefore this position will open the doors to many future career opportunities in the dynamic and exciting travel and tourism industry.
