For our client, a worldwide leading company with a stable position on the market, for a new Global Service Centre based in Wroclaw, we are currently looking for a suitable candidate for the position of:
Controlling Specialist
Miejsce pracy: dolnośląskie/ Wrocław
Nr Ref.: IVS/01/2017/WRC/DB
You will be responsible for executing the processes necessary for inventory controlling.
Your duties will include:
- Coordinating and planning of the inventory valuation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles as well as company policies for inventory and financial statement reporting
- Aiding the process of inventory control procedures enforcement
- Month-end closing of inventory ledgers
- Preparing and analyzing monthly COGS, margins and account reconciliations
- Preparing management reports
- Interacting with cross-functional areas
- Other, as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Keen analytical skills
- Experience in Inventory Accounting, P&L and Margin analysis (Manufacturing Accounting or Controlling experience will be an advantage)
- University degree, finance or accounting area preferred
- Very good English, both written and oral (other language will be an asset)
- Solid working knowledge of an ERP system (SAP preferred) and Microsoft software
- Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team
