You will manage the processes for gaining market intelligence, defining category strategy, request for quotes, negotiations and performance management for the purchased services. Negotiate the purchase of services utilized by various staff organizations including IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, Legal and Communications and facilities/office across EMEA and Russia. Serves on the Global Commodity Board for Professional Services.

- In coordination with the staff organizations, negotiate and contract the best overall value proposition (price and service) for products and services while following the Global Sourcing CSSS process.
- Monitor trends in market conditions to maintain evolving business strategies.
- Achieve cost reduction goals in the purchase of services by working with the staff organizations and introducing best practices to the procurement process.
- Identify opportunities for savings in the purchase of products and services by analyzing information available in SAP, BW and other databases.
- Consolidate purchases to achieve optimum price and service by finding instances where multiple vendors are used for the same or similar services.
- Secure the cooperation of the staff organizations in the purchasing process by working closely with them in cross-functional teams to ensure their requirements are met while achieving financial goals.
- Be expected to lead through influence within Sourcing and the staff organizations supported
- Attend lead team meetings internal to the staff organizations supported and will be frequently called to be an active participant in the meetings.
- Work on multiple projects that will last from several weeks to over a year. The objective is to be the face of Corporate Services to the EMEA organization and provide leadership in the sourcing and supplier management processes.There will be exposure to various parts of the IP organization.
- Bachelor or Masters degree (required)
- Five+ years company or related experience; experience in two or more functional areas which should include work on cross-functional teams and experience negotiating contracts.
- Demonstrated leadership and you are developing managerial skills.
- Purchased complex items where detailed specification was involved.
- Been involved in developing specifications and requires analysis to balance the value of competing bids; project management and some strategic planning is key.
- A demonstrated command of skills in analysis and negotiations, project management, communications, presentations and change management.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external customers in order to motivate them to obtain desired results.
- Fluency in English (base requirement); additional operating languages would be beneficial (French, Spanish, Polish, Italian, Turkish or Russian)
