Your role
For the Group Chief Technology Officer team in Krakow, we are looking for an experienced and quick-learning data analyst with strong data modelling and reporting skills to support strategic processes of IT Portfolio Management (ITPM) at UBS.
Your role
Data analytics and reporting for IT Portfolio Management (ITPM) will be the main focus of your work. You will provide key ITPM metrics related to new and decomissioned technologies at UBS. You will build an understanding of the ITPM process and its underlying data model, and develop a framework for measuring and reporting ITPM data quality, including elements such as data definition and validation, or tooling required to deliver an automated reporting solution.
This role provides an opportunity to build automated data analytics dashboards and build an understanding of the ITPM function and anaysis of the IT environment in a large organization.
Responsibilities:
- Developing data analytics and reporting for IT Portfolio Management
- Building a data quality dashboard for IT Portfolio Management
- Developing automated reporting solutions in MS SQL, MS SSIS and Tableau
- Liasing with data owners
Your team
You will be working closely with the talented IT Portfolio Management team in Zurich, New York and Krakow, building your knowledge of their domain. The team aims to sustainably control the application and technology environment of UBS in order to support the Enterprise Architecture team in reducing complexity and costs, managing risk and improving agility.
Your experience and skills
- Min. 2 years of experience in data analytics and reporting using Excel, MS SQL, MS SSIS and preferably Tableau
- Able to write simple SQL queries
- Able to work with complex problems and high-level requirements, autonomously proposing solutions and implementing them
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in navigating complex data models
- Experience in building automated analytics and reporting solutions
- Experience in designing reporting dashboards, familiarity with data visualization
- Familiarity with the following UBS systems will be an advantage: GCT, PPM, EAPM, iSAC
