Head of IT Operations

Position Description
- Responsible for the performance of staff and their professional development;
- Responsible for the public and private cloud infrastructure, network, voice, email, backup, desktop, remote access, and other critical technologies;
- Responsible for the support of the Company’s 3rd party applications and internally developed applications;
- Leverage industry best practices such as ITIL to effectively manage the delivery of core services by 3rd party managed service providers;
- Act as the IT escalation point for all managed service providers and internal IT desktop support;
- Subject Matter Expert for critical infrastructure services including server, storage, network, voice, extranet and desktop technologies;
- Create IT performance measurements necessary to effectively manage service providers such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
- Responsible for the creation of system health reports, incident trending, capacity reports, and ad hoc reports as required;
- Responsible for Infrastructure quality control, change management, incident management, problem management and capacity management.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing infrastructure operations and application support teams;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing 3rd party/outsourced infrastructure service providers across multiple geographies;
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology or related field;
- Fluency in English both written and spoken;
- Proven ability to lead multiple teams that successfully implement and maintain IT strategies;
- Proven ability to lead multiple teams that successfully implement and maintain IT strategies;
- Ability to represent IT both internally and externally;
- Professional certifications such as ITIL V3 or PMP is preferred.
