Responsibilites
People management
- Responsible for international team of sales managers
- Reporting to the Managing Director Automotive
Sales management
- Manage Sales and Marketing activities across Automotive practice globally
- Accountable for achieving revenue targets assigned to the practice
- Initiate and drive RFI/RFP process to ensure the high win ratio
- Provide risk assessment and reliable forecasting
Business development
- Develop and execute new approaches and opportunities for expanding customer base
- Continuously identify and develop service offerings for existing and potential customers in the automotive sector
- Participate in relevant industry events and professional associations as well
- Business analytic and research companies relationship (e.g. Gartner)
- Provide mentoring for the practice senior technical management (Delivery Managers) on the subject matter as required
Requirements
- Education: A degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or similar is required for this position.
- Extensive experience of selling software development services to Automotive OEM-s (Ford, GM, BMW etc) and TIER1-s (such as Harman, Delphi, Panasonic, Continental etc.).
- Working knowledge of modern Automotive technologies.
- Good understanding of Automotive industry ecosystem and an existing contact network
- Understanding of contemporary IT technologies and platforms, product development lifecycle, software development methodologies is a plus
- Experience of working in multi-cultural international environment
- Ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships in complex hierarchical corporate environment
- Articulate, excellent presentation and communication skills as well as strong influencing and negotiation skills to drive results
- Willing to travel
