For our branch we are looking for a candidate / candidates for the position:
- Privileged entry point for 3PL (logistics providers) operational issues and coordination of daily relationships between 3PL, LSP and the customer’s teams
- Coordination and implementation of operational processes and set up of best-practices
- Follow-up and monitoring of the global Overseas import supply-chain for the customer and taking action with 3PLs in case of deviation.
- Set-up of emergency solutions by road, airfreight, air charter or by onboard courier, inside Europe or on an intercontinental scale, in accordance with client’s requirements and after client’s approval, combined with a strong commitment to contribute to the most cost efficient solution.
- Controls costs related to exceptional or not contracted situations for the customer
- Set up and follow up of Key Performance indicators in his business field
- Professional English
- German or French as a second language appreciated
- Standard tools of MICROSOFT OFFICE office
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry and related logistics processes
- Strong knowledge of Intercontinental logistics (Sea and Airfreight)
- Customs processes understanding
- Structured transversal coordination
- Able to set different levels of priority to adapt to urgency or criticality
- Current log. process analysis and further optimization
- High level communications skills with ability to define and maintain worldwide network of contacts
- Creates actions plans based on events or changes in the environment which impact his area of activity
- Focused on fast problem analysis and solving
