We are looking for a creative iOS Engineer to be a key member of a small, skilled, results-oriented team of product developers. This is a hands-on role, writing code, testing, and deploying the finished apps and libraries. We’ve been building native iOS apps and libraries (that interact with RESTful services) for the biggest Norwegian newspaper and we want someone with as much passion for the platform as we have. If you absolutely love working with Objective-C and iOS SDK, and have a good base of skills, you may be the person we’re looking for.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in iOS/Objective-C
- Have at least one app available to download from AppStore
- Experience with Core Data and data migration programming
- Have some experience using Git or any other distributed version control system
- Be eager to create snappy UI’s
- Be fluent in XCode or AppCode
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proactive approach and good communication/interpersonal skills
ADDITIONAL:
- Experience in automating everyday tasks (e.g. app build process)
- A focus on data driven development
- Experience with Core Data and data migration programming
- GitHub account and contribution to open source projects
