IT Asset Management Specialist provides the opportunity to support IT Asset lifecycle program administration, IT equipment and software assets. It also gives the possibility to learn the other areas of support provided by the IT Asset Management team. The position provides an unique insight to a variety of IT areas. It involves close cooperation with all Information Technology staff groups and businesses.
In this position, we offer the opportunity to work in the team that provides and expands the services to the business units located on multiple continents. You will cooperate with internal IT groups, external vendors, process owners and clients based in multiple countries. Participation in establishing new processes in various countries may be exciting assignment, can make the work attractive and inspire for developing improvements and optimize the existing processes.
- Maintain and execute standardized processes and procedures for the operation of the IT Store. Processes are optimized through ongoing process improvement.
- Perform all necessary communications and training to users/locations within the enterprise as they arise. In addition, support of the reporting needs for both online and ad-hoc requests.
- Administers activity related to the company disposal program for IT assets.
- Learn (via ongoing internal cross-training) the other areas of support provided by the IT Asset Management team.
- Work with the IT Asset Management team to successfully train and implement a global direct IT capability within the company.
- Implement process improvement changes resulting in increased productivity while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
- Increase knowledge of all the various types of approved standards available for the active installed base and performing the required analysis.
- Degree in Information Technology preferred.
- Knowledge of computer concepts, systems management tools in use and the supported environment. Advanced skills related to data manipulation (spreadsheets, databases, queries, reports, etc.).
- Knowledge of computing resource dependency and impact to business continuity for the installed base managed.
- Fluent English is a must
- Procurement/customer service experience desired
- Customer focus with strong communication skills for our global environment.
- An attitude to be self-driven, requiring minimal supervision
- Ability to work until 7pm a week in a month
