Tasks:
The role is for Project Manager to support the Poland Technology Transformation programme in delivering the change across EMEA sites. During the course of the program additional need for project management support has been identified, the financing of the role has been confirmed by the Program Manager Sonny Colar. The Poland Infrastructure Transformation (PIT) Programme was initiated as part of the EMEA Programme Portfolio. The programme scope has been split in to 4 main streams of delivery: RBS Standard Infrastructure & Network, Application Migration and Decommission, Desktop/Data Migration and Storage, Service Support/Operating Model. The candidate primary responsibility will be to support Application Migration and Decommission stream by running up to 5 application migrations projects in parallel to move the apps from legacy Infrastructure, to existing procured infrastructure in Poland across the year 2017. Candidate will be responsible for creating a milestone plan and tracking its execution, documenting and managing any risks associated to it throughout the full project lifecycle. Candidate will report to the Hiring Manager and the other programme stakeholders on all progress and issues concerning the projects delivery in Polish and English, often working with the remote teams and 3rd party suppliers
Role Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible to support the application migrations in Poland and work closely with the Poland Delivery Manager.
- You will be responsible for supporting creation of a milestone plan and tracking the application migrations.
- You will be responsible for reporting any risks associated to the application delivery steam.
- You will align yourself to the application teams for engagement with external vendor support.
- Report to the Hiring Manager, on all progress and issues concerning the project delivery for the application migrations.
- You will work with your peers in the project to produce a target infrastructure solution for each application.
- You will be responsible to coordinate implementation between Poland and the central platform resources working with the Poland and UK managers.
- You will provide technical support and direction to the project team.
- You will be required to use existing tool sets and methodologies (training will be provided).
- You will be required to work alongside the programme team and platformapplication teams to deliver the requirements to reach the project objectives.
- Support the project to deliver the outcome and any new programme activities associated to the EMEA site (potentially decommissioning, exit, archiving).
- Responsive to ad-hoc requests to support the Implementation Programme Management Team.
- Ability to work flexible hours between 7am - 7pm (8 hrs per day) with little supervision with a one day in a week working from home.
- Be flexible in working hours due to demands of the project and available for international travel (with notice).
- Fluency in English, spoken and written;
- Experience in hosting and chairing meetings;
