We are currently seeking highly motivated, energetic person with great attention to details and results oriented attitude for the role of:
Language Center Coordinator will manage/administer the CBRE translation engagements, secures Quality Assurance, translates documents corresponding to language proficiencies and ensures continuous improvement of the translation process and technology with specific focus on excellence in customer satisfaction, financials, resource delivery, service delivery, and business expansions.
- Ensure customer requests are recorded accurately and completely
- Translate, abstracts, proofread and edit all kinds of documents based from language capabilities
- Negotiate and agree on pricing and timescales with the customer
- Maintain the integrity and usability of the Project Management and CAT software
- Maintain the Translation Memory database
- Recommend translation strategy and continuous improvement practices
- Ensure the Translations Department complies with the Data Protection and IT Security Policy
- Achieve all KPIs as specified in the contracts with clients
- Support global, regional and local rolled out engagement activities (trainings, surveys, integrity, safety etc.)
- Secure Quality Assurance and ensure standards are kept at desired levels
- Monitor and evaluate Translators" and Language-Partners/Agencies' performance
- Ensure that all external and internal client related issues are addressed promptly and to provide root cause analysis for each issues
- Fully understand business requirements and follow all steps of the translation process
- Build a strong working relationship with clients to achieve Win/Win results and also able to satisfy clients that require extraordinarily high service levels
- University degree - minimum Bachelor"s degree
- Proficiency in English and at least one of the following languages: German, French, Italian or Spanish
- Superior oral and written communication skills required
- Experience in using MS Office, Project Management software and CAT Translation tools
- Organized, able to work independently and effectively manage workload
- Proficiency in translation techniques is an advantage
- Experience in lease abstraction is an advantage
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Analyse the translation process and technology (including, but not limited to Computer Aided Translation) and continuously research for improvements in the process and technology
- Desirable: basic understanding of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and publishing software (InDesign)
