An exciting opportunity has arisen within EMEA Learning & Development Team. The purpose of this job is to develop and deliver training, or consult and arrange learning & development initiatives for IP EMEA employees within established guidelines and distinct standards.

- Owns the training process end-to-end, from learning needs analysis to evaluation and reporting on training effectiveness
- Conducts training as assigned, from stand-up workshops to facilitating one-on-one feedback sessions, providing expertise and complying with training standards
- Prepares, evaluates and maintains training materials (e.g. folders, presentation decks)
- Maintains relevant files and/or records to provide up-to-date reporting and comply with established guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Effectively builds strong relationships with internal customer groups, gaining understanding of the business context and using their professional expertise to give sound advice
- Advises on best fit development solutions, to support employees in their personal and career development
- Works with internal clients and external suppliers to define solutions to enable teams to operate effectively and to deliver a high level of performance to meet business objectives
- Identifies coaching/mentoring requirements in development discussions with internal clients and manages the relationship between coach/mentor and client ensuring the internal coaching/mentoring guidelines are met
- Researches information to develop of new training programs that meet training needs
- Represents L&D team in meetings with external organizations when needed
- May supervise work of external training service providers when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- Master's degree in HR, education, or an equivalent combination of education and business experience
- 3-5 years of work experience in training delivery, and designing, developing and editing training materials required
- Experience in delivering training in a Manufacturing or Technical area will be an asset
- Strong interest and enthusiasm in people development
- Analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex content and present it in a clear, logical and appropriate format fit for a range of target audiences
- Managerial, interpersonal, critical-thinking, decision-making, communication skills and intercultural savvy
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint savvy, presentation and training software programs; demonstrated knowledge of various learning management systems (LMS)
- Some travel required
- Fluency in English is required. Fluency in French/ Italian/ Spanish, or fluency in Russian will be an asset.
