The Learning Services Program Manager is responsible for managing large global projects for both documentation and training within Motorola Solutions and is responsible for ensuring proper completion of the development work assigned to the Krakow and Penang training development teams. This includes. but is not limited to, responsibility for the quality of deliverables, completion of the team’s deliverables on schedule, raising risk and issues, arranging for coverage of work due to employee out of office.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
• The ability to be able to build and maintain strong relationships with key project stakeholders
• Define project scope with the Product Owners
• Work with Information Architects and Instructional Designers and Translation team to cost projects and define scope
• Determine the resources required to complete the project based on project costing.
• Create a detailed project plan which identifies and sequences activities and dependencies, and assign resources to successfully complete a project.
• Monitor and control the project execution, and identify risks and issues throughout the project process
• Communicate risks and issues along with mitigation plans to the project stakeholdersEstablish
• Continual communication with key project stakeholders, on project status, risks and issues
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule.
• Participate in quality reviews of assignments to ensure they are at an acceptable quality level, as well as having complied with the appropriate development process
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
• Project Management Experience
• Work closely with the Project Management Community of Practice to establish and build a best in class Project Management Organization
• Work closely with the project management team to move the organization towards SafeAgile
• Work with the project management team to help drive best in class process and procedures
• Completes the projects with moderate supervision.
• Strong team player, able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Motorola Product Knowledge:In order to understand the direction of the instructional designers and information architects, it is desirable to have the highest level non-engineering understanding of the features, functions, and applicability of Motorola products and systems. Prior experience or knowledge is a plus, and the ability rapidly gain such knowledge is required.Minimum requirements
• BSc Computer Science or English Language Degree
• Background in Course Development, with a minimum of 2 years experience a plus but not essential.
• Understanding of Google Apps for Work is preferred by not required
• Essential Microsoft Products expert
• PMP or PRINCE certified preferred
