As our new test engineer you must ensure correct testing from concept to final verified production at Radiometer. To become successful, you must be enthusiastic and feel strongly for test engineering and excellent designs, and you enjoy sharing your passion with your colleagues. Your responsibilities and tasks will include:
- Combine theory with practical and systematic execution
- Develop and design own test constructions taking other engineering disciplines into account
- Validate test equipment and ensure it is maintained
- Cooperate with external test houses
- Participate in improving the current test methods, and ensure that the optimal HW Engineering methods and procedures are implemented across the team
- Reporting status and test findings
- Secure effective use of modeling (Creo), simulations, solid tolerance calculations etc
- Keep up-to-date with new technology and make recommendations for the Test and HW Engineering tool-box and processes
- Cooperate with R&D groups by contribution in Problem Solving Process activities and supporting the design team to achieve fast and effective resolutions and reliability growth cycle
- Give latest lesson learned input to new programs
- Review and give feedback on new concepts
- Give as much information to R&D as possible for future development and to ensure the Radiometer quality standards are accomplished.
- Education: Mechanical or Automatic Control Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.)
- Fluent English required in speaking, writing & reading
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Solid practical and hands-on experience with testing of HW constructions, preferably from measuring systems or precision mechanical motion systems
- Experience with dynamic and kinematic analysis of motion systems
- Experience in Creo or similar 3D system
- Experience with modeling and tolerance analysis
- Basic statistical knowledge
- Experience with interface analysis of total construction
- Experience with fatigue analyzes
- Experience with reliability engineering
- Basic understanding of PoF (Physic of Failure)
- Good practice of MS Office package
- The candidate will be travelling 20-30% of his time to R&D office in Denmark. During the first 6 months of employment, candidate must expect an intensive training period at Radiometer Medical in Denmark.
