The department is responsible for development and support of front office technology for the global foreign exchange desk. The group develops options trading and risk management systems, e-commerce dealing systems, and a full range of feeds that connect front and back office systems. The group also supports vendor applications for cash trading and order management.
The department is currently engaged in a multi-year initiative to consolidate 3 booking systems into a new next-generation global booking platform capable of handling orders of magnitude more volume than the current set of systems. We seek a developer that will make a strong contribution to this project. In addition the candidate might be participating in taking over ownership of trade capture and enquiry UI.
We require a .NET developer for the team to help us drive strategic department projects in the trade post-processing space (reporting engines, trade search services) and deal capture areas covering UIs used to enter and book trades.
The volume of trade and number of reports that the system is expected to handle is growing rapidly, which provides an abundance of technical challenges and requires continuous focus on writing high-performing code.
