Oracle Database Administrator – Remote Work Possible
A large and successful company is undertaking major changes and improvements to their organisation and require administrators specialising in Oracle Databases in either the Warsaw or Dolnośląskie area. The candidate will be responsible for system backup and recovery. You will also be responsible for monitoring database performance and conduct performance tuning as necessary.
The candidate can have basic experience in Oracle, but instead the motivation and openness to learn database administration.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/LINUX systems (the ability to write shell scripts is appreciated)
- Knowledge of configuration and administration of Oracle databases
- Being on call to amend system errors on call 24/7 for the initial launch and use of the project (can be done remotely)
- Proficient in English language
- Good communication and being open to learn and develop their knowledge in Oracle
