Key Responsibilities
- Work as a part of QA team to test and automate tests for Regression Test Set that covers functional requirements to the application
- Automate test suites and integrate them with CI
- Perform initial analysis of failed tests
- Communicate the results of tests and analysis back to the team
- Capture and report any defects throughout test execution
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Quality Assurance & Testing background
- Deep knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
- Great analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Agile, TDD, ATDD
- Automated Testing experience
- Knowledge of Java / C# coding (understanding and developing the code)
- Knowledge of XML / JSON
- Continuous Integration / build systems' knowledge (TeamCity, Jenkins, SVN)
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience of using JIRA or Quality Centre (or equivalent tools)
- ISTQB certification
- Non-functional testing experience (e.g. J-Meter, Load Runner)
- Experience or knowledge from financial area would be great attitude
Overview of business area or project:
The Strategic EPE Programme (S-EPE) has been established to provide a consistent valuation methodology for calculating counterparty credit exposure, for use in both regulatory capital calculations and the management of CVA.
S-EPE's objective is to roll out Monte Carlo EPE models that align the counterparty credit risk exposure calculations used for risk management, accounting, limit monitoring and regulatory capital.
Overview of the department / team (team size, backgrounds, personalities ...):
The project team is located mainly in two locations - Wroclaw and London and includes almost 50 people with following roles - Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Test Manager, Team Leads, Developers, Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Engineers.
QA team itself is currently spread through 3 locations, which includes Wroclaw (3 peoples), London (1) and Pune (2).
