Your role
Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you have the know-how to analyze financial data and to prepare relevant financial information? We’re looking for someone like that to:
- prepare regulatory disclosures, using data from the Group Consolidation and Reporting System (GCRS), at a UBS group level and at various aggregated levels
- perform validation controls and engage with legal entity controllers to resolve data quality issues
- perform reconciliations between regulatory disclosures and other internal or external disclosures
- perform 1st level analytical reviews of regulatory disclosures by explaining period on period moves
- work closely together with other finance teams globally in order to ensure full front-to-back process and content integrity of regulatory disclosures
- improve our processes by their optimization and automation
Your team
You will be working in The Regulatory Disclosures team based in Krakow Business Park (Zabierzow) and is part of Group Accounting, Controlling and Policy (GACP). We are responsible for the preparation of a large number of regulatory disclosures required by FINMA, the Swiss National Bank, the Bank for International Settlements, (BIS) and others. The reports are financial and statistical in nature, largely based on balance sheet positions. Reports are prepared at a UBS Group consolidated level as well as at various aggregated levels, per regulatory requirements.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the financial services industry
- very good MS Office skills, VBA knowledge would be an asset
- strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem solving skills
- pro-active attitude and ability to learn from experience
You are:
- fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
- able to communicate with multiple onshore clients on all levels of seniority
- methodical, well-organized and accurate, with strong attention to details
- prepared to work under pressure to strict deadlines
