Senior BI Developer

Responsibilites
- Work with business analysts to understand, define and document logical data models.
- Design and develop a database using Oracle RDBMS technologies.
- Designing the data flow between upstream systems and risk reporting engines
- Monitoring database performance and tuning SQL queries
- Identifying and resolving scalability issues
- Define, prepare and implements data validation and unit testing to ensure data quality.
- Implement bug fixes when required
- Enforce standards and best practices
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate and work directly with business/tech teams on daily basis;
- Good understanding of OBIEE Suite (BI Server, Answers, Dashboards, iBots, BI Publisher);
- Extensive experience in dimensional modelling with exposure to Dimensional Hierarchies, Aggregation Navigation, Time Series functions, Calculated and Level-based Measures etc.;
- Experience in developing OBIEE Repository at all 3 layers, Analysis and interactive Dashboards with drill down capabilities.
Nice to have
- Experience in ETL development using such tools as IBM Data Stage, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Informatica.
- Skills in DB/SQL performance tuning;
- Experience with OBIEE web services including SOAP and REST;
- Experience with Essbase (or other multidimensional DB), MDX, XMLA;

The project goal is to develop a complex BI+ETL+DWH system which should allow business stakeholders to trace their main KPIs as well as comply with external regulation requirements. Team should figure out the best data models and message formats using industry standards. New solution will be feed by tens of existing upstream systems. Leveraging ESB-like technology it should gather and be able to present the data as close to real-time as possible.
