This is a Senior Business Analyst role for the STS Trade Management Technology team. The role will have responsibility for facing off with the Front Office (Sales, Trading and Trade Management) teams initially in Zurich, long term globally (New York, London Singapore, etc) and partnering with a global development team to deliver a structured product and later on extending the responsibilities on other platforms in our area.
Other Responsibilities include:
- Maintain close relationships with business and tech leads locally (Zurich)
- Maintain strong relationships with global business users and tech teams
- Perform thorough "roll your sleeves up" analysis on new business demand and requirements.
- Use experience in Structured products to solve business problems
- Work with the business to ensure they maximize the value of the platform and tools during critical market or business events (migrations, novations, etc)
Essential skills:
- 3+ years of experience
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Experience with requirement engineering and business process modelling
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL
Desired skills:
- Basic knowledge/ understanding of the financial markets
- SCRUM/Agile methodologies
- Experience in regulatory space
- experience in BDD and understanding of TDD
- ability to review and build own queries using SQL
- Experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle
Application developer in the STS Trading IT team developing new applications and extending existing applications towards our strategic architecture.
Software engineer, who should be able to pick up all tasks related with entire lifecycle of product development, i.e. contact with stakeholders, gathering requirements and analysis, design of architecture, implementation, design and write different types of tests, packaging, deployment, support and maintenance software in production; know and understand Agile methodology and its tools.
- Development of new applications in the area of trade management applications (including lifecycles, valuations)
- Automated build, packaging and deployment process for production deployments.
- Research and development of new cross-asset platform based on our strategic trading trade management system
