Senior QA Automation Specialist

Responsibilites
- Creating test designs & test cases for test automation
- Building and maintain a test automation framework
- Writing code to test code/microservices, and increasing tests coverage alongside the Development team
- Developing test code and/or cucumber steps for new functionality
- Developing the integration & regression tests, working with the existing team to uncover what existing code is intended to do
- Working where necessary on designing both functional & non-functional tests (e.g. fail-safe scenarios, performance etc.)
Requirements
- Prior experience in an Automation QA role
- Experience dealing with both functional and non-functional testing
- Experience in testing against BI tools (preferably OBIEE)
- Experience in testing against ETL tools (preferably DataStage)
- Experience with SQL
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and practices
- Good written and spoken English
Nice to have:
- experience with BDD and TDD
- experience in integration testing
- Distributed version control systems (Bitbucket\Stash, Git\Github, Mercurial, etc.)
- Build automation and continuous integration (Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, etc)
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban
- Capital Markets / Financial / Risk domain knowledge

The project goal is to develop a complex ETL+DWH+BI system which should allow business stakeholders to trace their main KPIs as well as comply with external regulation requirements. Team should figure out the best data models and message formats using industry standards. New solution will be feed by tens of existing upstream systems. Leveraging ESB-like technology it should gather and be able to present the data as close to real-time as possible.
