Senior Technical Engineer/ Pre-sales Architect

Opis stanowiska:
For our client offering IT Managed Service Provider solutions to the UK Government, healthcare and mid-tier corporate markets for over 26 years we are seeking to add to their talent pool of technical specialists through the appointment of a Senior Technical Consultant to join their growing team.
Location: Cracow.
The Senior Technical Consultant will be a key player in an exciting managed service, customer interfacing role that couples technical and client relationship skills to successfully implement our product offerings. The role will develop our implementation capabilities with a focus on managing large scale managed service contracts, design and deployment. The role will also include knowledge sharing to your fellow peers, to ensure troubleshooting and normal admin tasks are moved away from this role.
The role will be based out of the Service Management Centre with the role focused on supporting our large scale customer infrastructures to ensure system availability is maintained in line with defined service level agreements (SLAs). The position will also require you to travel to customers sites for design meetings and project deployments on a regular basis.
You will also be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of complex solutions working with other consultants, NOC teams and clients. You will also have a consultative approach coupled with a strong technical background. You will also be required to write pre-sales for our customer base when required.
You will also be responsible for escalations for major incidents or problems in your relevant fields of expertise when required.
Must Have Technical Skills
- You must be certified to at least MCSE 2012 level preferably in one of the core areas below
o Private Cloud
o Server Infrastructure
- A working knowledge of virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and Vsphere is essential if certified in VMware this will be looked on favorably.
- Experience with public and private cloud technologies, i.e. vCloud Director, Azure & Office 365.
- Extensive knowledge in Storage Implementations and design such as NetApp, HP (deep knowledge of standard storage concepts is key for this role)
- Network fundamentals
In addition to the above skills working knowledge of the following would be beneficial.
- HP Servers/Blades
- Cisco UCS
- Cisco ASA Firewalls
The role will also require you to be part of the On-Call rota which will be based on a 1 in 5 basis.
