This role is a great opportunity for a recent HR grad to gain experience in a small, nimble and super busy HR department. During this 2-3 month internship, you will be part of the day to day activity of the department, learning the foundations and operations of how HR supports a creative and high performance environment. It is anticipated that the HR Trainee will work approximately 24-30 hours per week during the summer months.
Position Responsibilities:
- Trainee will utilize our HR methods and procedures to help organize and aid our HR department (Gdańsk Branch). Duties may include: posting job openings internally and externally, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews and testing, creating offer packets, initiating background checks, and extending verbal offers of employment.
- Trainee will assist in induction process for new hires
- Trainee will schedules candidate interviews and associated travel arrangements
- Trainee will assist in establishing and maintaining administrative systems, including but not limited to filing, typing, data entry, photocopying documents, and organizing and maintaining personnel files
- Trainee will assist in processes that allow effective management of all correspondence, reporting requirements and documentation, including but not limited to personal details of all new staff members and updating and accurately maintaining data of all existing employees
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, majoring in human resource management preferred
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information at all times
- Have excellent communication/customer service skills and the ability to juggle multiple assignments.

- Collaborative team player who also has the ability to work independently and be a self-starter, take initiative and set priorities
