Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for support activities in the application
- Cooperate closely with L1/2 support manager
- Coordinate Flex L3 support and DevOps team, ensuring 24/5 coverage and occasional weekend support
- Cooperate with other teams in CS (like Mars, JAP, Platform Services, NOC, …) on resolving issues
- Cooperate with BAs and dev teams on resolving issues when necessary (current prod incidents and bug Jiras)
- Prioritise reported issues and escalate when necessary
- Actively participate in resolving critical production issues
- Ensure Knowledge Transfer for new and changed features when going live with new releases
- Report on support situation on regular and ad-hoc basis
- Verify and sign-off work items (SQL scripts for data dumps, DB patches) delivered by the support team
- Monitor communication practices of the team and ensure users are always well informed about progress of their issues
- Ensure PROD/UAT/SIT/DEV environments are managed properly, including ordering new environments, upgrading existing ones and monitoring their stability
- Coordinate environment plan for environments for project phases and for other projects, including deployments and related sanity checks
- Develop team skills to ensure proper level of support
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Fluent English – must communicate easily in speaking and in writing with users around the world
- Well organized – role requires coordination of the team and distributing work to best utilize the team’s skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proven experience in working in support area (ITIL certification is a plus)
- Experience in team management/coordination/building
- DB skills (SQL) – ability to read database and understand data extracts
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Banking domain knowledge is a plus
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Analytical skills, be able to identify risky situations and prioritize work accordingly, as well as escalate issues requiring management attention
- Highly developed soft skills – ability to cooperate with demanding users and prevent conflicts
- Experience in working in distributed, multicultural environment
- Hands-on experience in working SQL to perform data extracts and data manipulations is a plus
- Understanding of DevOps concepts, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment

The project is visible to higher management and plays a crucial role reporting to Regulatory authorities around the world.
