The Technical Architect is responsible for the design of the Core Components and the technologies used, taking into account the overall department use cases.
The role requires close collaboration with dev leads and SMEs, as well as working with the functional and cross functional architects from IT. With this, we ensure that our platform leverages learnings from former projects and that it is conform with the high level architecture design.
- Good technical knowledge across a multitude of technologies and products with emphasis on Java
- Excellent understanding of Messaging & Orchestration
- Solid understanding of design patterns and good software development practices
- Capable to access performance metrics, message volumes, storage requirements for parts of the platform
- Familiar with DBMSs especially Oracle and distributed caches
- Modeling languages (UML) and tools, preferably Enterprise Architect
- Business Knowledge in the Finance Industry, ideally in Credit or Market Risk is advantageous
- Very good English in speaking and writing, Polish is a plus
Our solution is a multi-year strategic project building the core for future calculation engines within the organization. It establishes a common approach to calculation that interacts with peer frameworks on the data management and visualisation layer.
The team builds the project components using cutting edge technologies in cooperation with teams from other locations worldwide - London, Singapore, India, Switzerland.
As of today, we have 18 people in Wroclaw including the PM, two SMEs and a regional development lead , as well as 6 people in London.
Currently, we are in the stage of evaluating technologies to find the best matches given the requirements (see list of POCs below). This phase finishes at the end of Q1, where the focus will shift to the first two customer projects that are already aligned.
