The IT Business Analyst will be a key member of the Service Digitalization team working to transform the GCIO infrastructure into digital service offerings, supporting on cloud and container technology and optimized for Agile and DevOps, in order to support the bank's digital transformation. Key to achieving this end state is the work to refactor the current customized ServiceNow service portfolio and service catalog, and return it to a more out of the box state.
Whilst the IT Business Analyst is not expected to be a infrastructure technical domain expert, he/she is expected to have a relevant background in IT enterprise infrastructure and IT service management combined with strong capability in business analysis / requirements engineering.
The new team member will work in our smart working Warsaw office, as a member of our geographically distributed team, once it is safe to do so. Until that time, they will need to work remotely. The role will report to the Business Analyst Line Manager located in the Warsaw office, and be allocated to projects and programs on demand.
The new team member will work in our state-of-the-art smart working Warsaw office as a member of our geographically distributed team. IT Business Analyst works within IT Business Analysts team located in Warsaw - currently 5 team members - experts in Business Analysis from various domains, and is a member of geographically distributed team. He / she reports to Project & Program Management (London, New York) and locally to the Regional Line Manager located in the Warsaw office.
The successful candidate will be supported by an experienced and pragmatic management team and an established and successful Portfolio and Project Management Office (PMO).
- Elicitation / gathering of IT business requirements, translation into process models, functional and non-functional specifications as well as solutions designs presented as User Stories
- Ongoing requirements management and collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams - formulate requirements as user stories, definition of testing / success criteria, sprint planning & reviews, user acceptance testing, input into the product backlog
- Performing configuration / no code / low code changes to ServiceNow ITSM/ ITBM if needed
- Drive delivery of work packages within a main project
- Support enhancements in ServiceNow platform - focus on ServiceNow Portal, CMDB incl. UI mockups, or data models (e.g. ERD).
- Support the IT transition process by other tasks, like data analysis, presentations and reports
- Working in a global virtual project team with close daily collaboration with stakeholders
Working 1 Saturday/month
- 3 years' experience as IT Business/Technical Analyst, Solution Architect or equivalent role, within an IT organisation working in an international environment

- Demonstrable ServiceNow Admin experience
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into requirements functional specifications and solution designs
- Strong 360 degree stakeholder management, with the ability to manage competing requirements and interest groups
- Experience in testing and test management
- Experience in data migration / asta analysis
- Practical usage of MS Office applications (especially Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Information Technology background, preferably within IT infrastructure area
