Project Description:
As part of the Bank Technology Services - Global Banking & Markets, the main mandate of Post Trade Team is to deliver global and local solutions for Global Market Operations to automate/streamline Post Trade operations and improve efficiency. The key application we develop and support is TREATS, which is a Group System used by Operations, Risks and Finance users in over 50 sites across the Group. We are now seeking proactive and talented IT professionals to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Work as application analyst/developer to provide application solutions to the business
- Analyze business needs and recommend viable IT solutions to meet these requirements
- Design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business needs, according to established standards and best practices
- Conduct and support testing to ensure the quality of all deliverables
- Produce documentation on system solutions to ensure their maintainability and smooth implementation across local and regional sites
Skills
- Sound knowledge of iSeries, RPG, ILE and CL programming
- At least eight years' relevant IT experience in software design, development and testing
- A fast learner with effective planning, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, possess an outgoing personality, self-motivated and be able to work independently and under pressure
- A university graduate with degree in IT or a related discipline
- Strong communication and presentation skills with fluent written and spoken English
