CBRE has an exciting opportunity for a Data Governance Specialist to join our Workplace Strategy and Occupancy Solutions team. Our team has broad experience in providing solutions to help clients understand how effective and efficient their property estates are and manage them on their behalf. This role will be based on a client account reporting into the onsite Occupancy Planning team.
The Role of the Data Governance Specialist: The role will have the responsibility to provide a service to maintain a space, occupancy and reporting platform. The platform is used across the organization to support effective space management and ultimately cost saving. The main service levels are to ensure accuracy and quality of the data stored in the system; the provision of scheduled reports which are used for conversations with the business by the occupancy planning team; and to support the business processes to ensure requests for change and information flow is efficient.
- Compiles and maintains large volume of real estate portfolio data within information management systems to support various reporting, benchmarking and analytical requirements. Responsible for data integrity within information management systems.
- Performs calculations and analysis to fulfil requirements including but not limited to occupancy and space reporting and analysis.
- Generates and compiles data from multiple data sources using various business intelligence tools and information management systems to generate reports and provide analysis to support real estate portfolio management and business case decision making.
- Aggregates operational data for all services provided by the team and produce SLA, KPI and scorecard reporting for internal & external business audience.
- Administers platform users and their access rights
- Critical thinking and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Advance skills in data & information analysis, interpretation and visualization with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle a large volume of information and accurate management of large datasets.
- Computer proficiency in relational databases, reporting tools, MS Office (including MS Access) with ability to learn new information management systems quickly.
- Ability to work independent with minimal supervision to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders to gain requirements and gather information
- Ability to present information to a variety of different audiences (both internal and external)
