Department Overview
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for analysis of financial reports, trends, risks and opportunities. We gather, interpret and evaluate financial information, including past financial data and short- to long-term financial forecasts. FP&A department supports wide range of Motorola Solutions businesses and operations functions across Europe, Africa and North America region. We have several small subteams in FP&A that's why our team is unique - almost each position in our team has a different scope. You will have opportunity to understand how our company operates and improve your analytical skills.
Job Description
- Manage various Channel Rebates programs and Incentive schemes: tracking and calculations of rebates, accruals, regular reviews of the reserves and payout process
- Manage various Marketing funds and programs: tracking and calculation of COOP and MDF, regular reviews of the reserves and managing customer claim process
- Customer Prompt payment review and analysis
- Process journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations for COOP, MDF, Commission and Rebates accounts
- Support NA Channel MR Commission team: process commission payments, answer queries
- Various ad hoc reporting and projects
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance/accounting field
- Degree in accounting/finance
- Advanced use of MS Excel, including use of Pivot Tables
- Able to demonstrate experience of working in a busy environment and to strict deadlines.
- Able to demonstrate experience of working with and adhering to procedures and regulations
- Very good English skills – min. B2+ level
- Accounts Receivables background would be an asset
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills (particularly due to supporting remote location)
- Ability to focus on attention to detail
