You’ll join Markets Liquidity Risk Team, where you will get a chance to build a high performance systems that allow Nordea to to minimize investment banking liquidity risks. We value software craftsmanship and collaboration. We strive to create open and supportive working environment, enabling our developers to grow. Our agile teams are responsible for different business capabilities - risk calculation, aggregation, reporting and scenario execution. We work directly with product owners and domain experts, actively looking for business value.
What you’ll be doing:
- Using Java to develop real-time risk analytics application
- Working on completely new solutions (70%), upgrading current ones (20%) and working on uplifting your skills (10%)
- Participating in code reviews and design decisions with the rest of the team
- Preparing easy to read documentation for your state of art code
- Working with other teams using SAFe patterns

- You have ability to solve a task independently and with minimal assistance
- Will be able to clarify requirements with business efficiently and in professional manner with good English
- You will explore existing java code deeply - understand how the system is built and how the components work together
- You will be able to implement and present the complete solution while demos and PI planning
Your experience and background:
- Solid Java 11 knowledge
- Strong computer science fundamentals - data structures, algorithms, design patterns
- Practical experience with Spring framework
- Practical experience with Docker containers
- Knowledge of Akka, Kafka would be an advantage
- Fluent English, used on a daily basis
