The Polish financial center is a part of GSK global operating model, responsible for serving the European region in terms of Planning & Reporting and Close & Control activities, as well as more complex financial activities. Similar two units, responsible for serving Americas, as well as for Asia and Australia, are located in Costa Rica and Malaysia respectively. Our regional finance hubs will be centers of expertise that will work together as one finance team to share best practice and knowledge, working closely with other markets and colleagues from our global headquarters in London.

- As a R2R Reporting Specialist you will be responsible for overseeing Period End reporting activities delivered by BPO (including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory Accounting, Material Ledger, Period End Close and Balance Sheet Reconciliation processes)
- You will cooperate closely with BPO Teams on a daily basis to ensure that all activities and processes are carried out accurately, timely and efficiently (including - balance sheet reconciliation, and (GRNI) aged items clearing)
- Support BPO team on the mitigation of process escalations and problem-solving
- Your scope of duties includes strong partnership with market Finance Stakeholders to review financial results and ensure that financial reporting is fully compliant with internal and external accounting policies
- You will support the stock provision process standardization across various legal entities
- You will be responsible for the PPV inter-co variance analysis and provide detailed comments of the driving of the variances.
- You will contribute to finance control environment and ensure that controls for your area are compliant with internal procedures and SOX requirements and you respond to internal and external audit queries
- Participate in upcoming projects and other initiatives that are in addition to existing role and responsibility
- Basic qualifications:
- Accounting degree / qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong accounting experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluent English (minimum C1)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Analytical thinking and paying attention to details
- Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Accounting Company will be an asset
- Good understanding of Inventory Accounting (Material Ledger) will be an asset
- SAP experience will be a strong asset
- Have a strong excel skills a bonus
- A second European language
