Sales Representative with Chinese/Korean/Japanese
Main responsibilities:
- Place phone calls to existing & potential clients from our CRM system (Salesforce).
- Use scripts provided to provide information about service features, prices etc. and present their benefits (with necessary adjustments) to grow the number of port calls.
- Always communicate respectfully and politely with existing & potential customers.
- Ask relevant questions to ensure full understanding of the customer’s requirements.
- Use all available tools and processes to ensure that WSS sales process is followed.
- Log complaints in CRM system to enable them to be addressed.
- Ensure accurate and updated information on own account portfolio in CRM (Salesforce)
- Drive profitable sales growth on existing and new customers through increasing port call numbers.
- Set appointments with prospective customers base with Sales Manager based in customer location when required as a task through CRM (salesforce).
- Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to line manager.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and Ships Agency Managers as required to secure growth on existing business, and secure an holistic approach towards customers
- Segment portfolio into high potential for growth, medium and small, and manage phone call frequency accordingly. This assessment to be recorded in CRM (salesforce), and CRM (salesforce) used to set recurring task for Inside Sales Exec to ensure that customers are contacted with the required frequency
- Reach ambitious targets for own customer portfolio as set by Sales Directors.
- Secure full compliance with Ships Agency and general WSS sales governance for own portfolio
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Experience in sales or telemarketing (lead generation preferred)
- Excellent phone manner, communication and presentation skills
- Results-driven with the ability to cope with rejection on a daily basis
- Ambitious with a strong desire for success and a commercial mindset
- Ability to work independently by planning and organizing own work
- Able to meet deadlines through excellent time management
- Experience from working with Excel, MS office, CRM (Salesforce) etc.
- Proven communication skills and a good command of the English language (verbal and written)
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers
