About this opportunity
Welcome to the Finance and Valuation Control team. We add value by working with big amounts of data to provide best information for end user. As Java Developer, you’ll play a valuable role in agile team by developing Valuation Control Engine, analysing solutions, business requirements and propose appropriate way of implementation, testing and releasing application.
- Designing and implementing core of Valuation Control Engine in Java
- Cooperate with business to gather expectations
- Test your application: unit tests, Selenium
- Review the code on a regular basis and decide on refactoring, improvements in a code
- Invest in CI / CD platform and configurations and help coordinate releases from a technical perspective when needed
You’ll join a small development team cooperating closly with Product Owner and business. The role is based in Gdańsk.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Have 5y+ experience as a developer
- Have good understanding of Java and Spring
- Will be able to clarify requirements with business with good English
Your experience and background:
- Knowledge and experience in Java, Spring
- Knowledge of Spark, Docker, Kafka would be an advantage
- Knowledge and ability to use Clean Code principles
- Familiarity with tools like Bamboo, Git, Jira
- Good English both in writing and speaking
