The role of Platform Automation & Integration Engineer is involved in development and maintenance of established environment and working processes of remote execution platform.
The role implies to enhance and support the current tooling and develop new tooling aligned to our strategic goals.
Required skills:
- Back-end stack is Linux, Solaris;
- Experience with Apache, mod_perl;
- Perl 5, Test::More; SOAP services, XML, launch of external commands (IPC::Cmd or IPC::Open3 or IPC::Run), interaction with LDAP Server (Net::LDAP), interaction with Database (DBI)
- Experience with SQLite and Oracle.
- Any Perl module for generating web pages (Mason and Template Toolkit are preferable)
- Frond-end stack is HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX.
Helpful to have skill/experience with:
- Java, batch/shell scripting
- Unit/Integration testing and TAP protocol (Test::More)
- knowledge of Web application architectures, Bootstrap, AngularJS, Subversion or GIT version control systems, Jenkins Continuous Integration system.
Platform's objective is to establish an environment and working processes where simplistic and repetitive tasks can be handled by remote teams with minimal knowledge requirements across all company Groups.
Platform includes the following Components:
*World Wide Remote Support: Web Portal for manual tasks execution. *Execution Management System which is automated tasks execution component according to Netcool alerts and escalation the result back to Netcool. *Script Approval and Management Process *API available through SOAP Web Service.
