Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant with German language
Job location: Gdańsk, Poland
Scope of role:
- Taking responsibility for invoice processing - Electronic Invoice Processing, Securing Approval specifications, Non-PO Document Processing, Exception PO Invoice Processing)
- Preparing payment processing – validation invoices which are due for payment run
- Vendor Data Management – setting up vendors in the vendor master, maintaining vendor master, Releasing POs
- Participation in month end closing for AP - passing of month end journals, preparing the accruals, posting of entries in appropriate books and performing AP close activities as required by the process
- Providing high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders - Handle vendor queries via email and calls, address outstanding issues, provide reports on closed cases
- Communication with internal and external customer in an effective and efficient manner
- Taking part in implementation of process improvement initiatives
Candidate’s profile:
- Very knowledge of German language in business context
- Experience in AP preferably within SSC/BPO environment
- Knowledge of English language
- Good Excel knowledge, SAP experience would be an advantage
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
