Tasks:
Performing footprint, factory expansions, new factory projects and feasibility studies;
Conducting feasibility studies for new factory set ups. Scrutinizing and prioritizing investments and making final recommendations to enable PG/BU decisions;
Monitoring and reacting to the Opex performance and deviations from targets;
Supporting plants in preparing and scrutinizing the investment applications;
Driving productivity improvements, process and labor benchmarks and cost out;
Developing and improving the production standards to drive standardization and spread best practices;
Driving process standardization in manufacturing and following changes in the product technology and design;
Supporting plants in overall business process improvements not only limited to operations;
Searching and promoting new production technologies and organizational structures in the areas of equipment, organization, layouts, work organizations and incentive systems;
Supporting and participating in the OEP programs;
Developing good working relationships with the PGUs
Requirements:
University degree (preferably Bachelor / Master of Science / MBA);
Experience with the Automation of manufacturing processes would be desirable for our new and existing products;
At least 5-10 years of professional experience on similar position;
Experience in leading major improvement / restructuring projects;
Excellent command of the English language (both spoken and written);
Good understanding of different cultures, networking approach & excellent ability to guide, coach and mentor others;
Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
Strong analytical and systemic problem solving skills.
