This role will be to work closely with the EMA Finance Coordinator and EMA Chief Operating Officer (COO) to ensure that all financial administration tasks in relation to EMA PPC activities are managed effectively. This will include ensuring all costs are being paid in a timely manner and all revenue generated is invoiced and paid successfully. Additionally, this role will require providing support with quarterly and annual financial reporting and creating presentations for leadership.
- Following up and recording of all EMA PPC financial transactions, including all supplier costs as well as preparing and issuing invoices and chasing payment of these invoices
- Managing the day to day recording of the EMA PPC Budget vs. Forecast
- Providing timely and pro-active feedback to the Finance Coordinator and EMA PPC COO of any issue with payments, budget forecast predictions etc.
- Taking the lead in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Supporting the creation and following up of yearend accruals
- Supporting creation of financial reporting presentations for EMA leadership
- Minute taking and project supporting follow up for all finance related meetings
- Stakeholder management with internal EMA management team and support all ad-hoc questions related to financial related queries
- Managing mailbox and ensuring all queries dealt with in an effective and timely manner
- A degree or equivalent in business administration, economics, accounting, finance etc.
- A good basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger tasks
- Business fluency in English is essential for this role
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills, diplomacy and self confidence in working with all levels of staff
- Excellent attention to detail
- An ability to manage own workload and take ownership of projects. Any proven Project Management/Project Support experience would be an advantage
- A strong working knowledge of the MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint is essential
- Ideally you will have had proven experience in financial report writing
- Willingness to travel internationally occasionally in a year
