The Business Entity:
The Business Ops Analyst will be a key player in the Deal Assurance team supporting Advanced Services organization. The position will be responsible for analyzing area subscription bookings for the APJC area, and serve as a primary interface to multiple stakeholders including: field delivery, finance, sales and project management. The Ops analyst will help drive accuracy and revenue recognition. This person will provide recommendations based on that analysis. Advanced Services Business Operations is part of the fast growing Advanced Services Delivery organization passionate about transforming with the needs of our customers. Team members are impactful and influential on the business, and engage in projects to help innovate the business processes.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the accuracy and governance of data within the tools
- Assist in tracking and maintaining data for Project Profitability, Compliance, Accuracy, Governance at the project level.
- Assist with Booking process through Deal Assurance from the Advanced Services Delivery perspective
- Standardize and formalize definitions, calculations, metrics and matrices of specific tools
- Assist in driving global initiatives and project tracking and updates.
- Assist in the development of time-spent and efficiency measures and reports.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Assist and guide the field on processes, systems and procedures.
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed for management reporting and audit requirements
Desired Skills:
- BS/BA required
- Proficiency to medium/expert skill level using MS Excel is a must; experience with other database tools is a plus.
- Ideal candidate will have 4-6 years' experience demonstrating solid analytical skills working with the business community in a related role with any finance, business operations, project management, or delivery management experience.
- Advanced skills with data manipulation, analysis and creation of summary reports for the business community.
- Solid organizational skills, ability to focus and make progress towards both short term goals and long term objectives.
- Cross-functional collaborator capable of building and nurturing relationships with existing and new stakeholders.
- Comfortable with change and possess the ability to execute against a regularly re-evaluated plan while maintaining commitment to all stakeholders.
- Willingness to grow with the team and tackle administrative tasks as required associated with area level metrics.
-Strong conflict resolution skills coupled with a proactive approach to identifying challenges before they reach "critical mass."
