C++ Software Engineer

Main tasks:
- Participating and contributing in all parts of the software development cycle.
- Developing software for Set Top Box platforms which use Linux as an operating system.
- Implementing, optimizing and testing software.
- Supporting coworkers, designing and developing software modules.
- Debugging and fixing software issues.
- Consulting features requested by clients
- Creating documentation for the code.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in C++ programming, preferably on Linux-based platforms
- Deep knowledge and experience in object-oriented and multi-threaded programming, incorporating design patterns
- Knowledge of some software development methodology (agile software development, extreme programming, waterfall model, ...)
- Ability to communicate in English
Nice to have:
- QtWebkit or Webkit
- OpenGL and graphics programming
- Embedded Linux adaptation and Qt
- User Experience and Graphics Design
- Experience in programming for mobile platforms is a plus (iOS, Android)
- Graphical User Interface (GUI) development using Qt
- Knowledge of Internet and networking technologies is a plus (TCP/IP, HTTP, JSON, ...)
- Good knowledge and experience in using STL and Boost
