Continuous Product Improvement Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements course edits and manage content in the LMS as directed to ensure requests for change are executed accurately and launched on time for academic terms. Coordinates with the Product Delivery Team to ensure updates are made within the appropriate edit window, according to the course copy schedule
Provide inspiring and efficient support for Faculty and Academic Operations, Course Development, Product Management teams and for educational institution partners by identifying problems in course functionality and researching answers, and to implement improvements to online courses based on requests for maintenance or assessment of feedback
Collaborate with relevant course stakeholders to ensure timely support and with Learning Architects to manage and track all level of requests and course upgrade requests. Report on status for pending requests and be able to initiate approvals as required for substantial course maintenance
Track, route, and follow up on course maintenance requests as appropriate. Coordinates workflows
Creates courses in LMS and Assures all course components are complete, uploaded into LMS, and fully functional
Acts as Learning Management System (LMS), Content Management System (CMS), and Laureate portal expert and recommends specific technologies that might enhance the learning experience
Participates in the weekly operational meetings with the development teams
Complete special projects or assignments as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work and life experience required
HTML, Dreamweaver and Learning Management System experience
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, including working independently on multiple projects
Minimum of 2 years professional experience in instructional design preferred, and/or web design
Good visual sense and intuitive understanding of design principles, including UI and UX design
Knowledge of innovative technologies and tools is a plus
Fluency in English required with mastery of verbal, written, listening, and comprehension skills
Command of Spanish is a plus
Experience of working in a multi-cultural and international environment (preferred)
