The Corporate Development Transaction Services (CDTS) Practitioner provides financial acumen in support of the sales process for complex outsourcing and consulting arrangements. The role creates internal and external financials to drive the commercial approach to the client value proposition. This position prepares income statements, balance sheets and cash flows supporting client engagement in compliance with internal and external norms, Accenture policy and commercial standards. They may also plan financing requests and solution unit business cases and alliances.

Developing client business cases and value propositions, providing financial advice to the sales teams often working as the sole Finance contact on the deal whilst escalating specific issues to CDTS Leads as appropriate.

Support the sales process by applying independent thinking and commercial and financial rigor to structure and shape deals for Accenture"s largest scale engagements, ranging from outsourcing and complex consulting engagements to Merger and Acquisition transactions, the creation of new businesses such as joint ventures and operating companies and alliances

Evaluation of financial investment performance through the creation of valuation models, pricing models and preparation of market and competitive assessments to contribute to Accenture's investment decision making

Co-ordinate across finance, legal and many other Accenture teams including Sales, Solution, operating units, growth platforms, to achieve the optimum balance of risk and reward between Accenture and the client for all proposed deal structures and to ensure a smooth transition into service delivery

Provide analytical support to senior team members

Perform finance due diligence on inorganic transactions with responsiblity for documenting findings obtained through data room review and management meetings

Advise Deal Captain on key risks identified and provide mitigating actions including input to negotiation of transaction documents

Act as an interface to finance integration, jointly developing work plan and ensuring continuity of knowledge and awareness of key factors
Demonstrable evidence of relevant Experience:

Financial deal shaping, structuring - costing and pricing around the Client Value Proposition, negotiating and modeling

Participate with sales teams to drive opportunities to closure

Interface with client financial and business executives to understand client EVA drivers

M&A financial analysis, shaping and due diligence

Present client value proposition and develop deal structures and commercial terms

3+ years at a major corporation/Big 4 (i.e. FT Global 500) as a "hands on" financial analyst with strong financial skills and exposure to senior management
OR -
2+ years accounting or finance work experience
