Role and responsibilities:
- provide broad triage support within Datacenter solutions including hardware, applications, and OS support. Solutions include Flexpod, vBlock, SAP/Hana, OpenStack.
- works on complex problems where analysis of situations requires in-depth evaluation of factors.
- provide systems/product support and training to customers, and contribute towards building a knowledge base to help customers and internal stakeholders.
- act as a focal point for high impact, large account problem resolution.
- act as a technical expert and provide support on a European and world-wide basis.
- interfaces with Cisco partners, OEMs, end-users, and internal engineering departments to drive quality into the product.
- receive minimal supervision, no instruction on routine work, and general instruction on new assignments.
We are looking for the candidate (min. 3 years of experience) with the knowledge of:
- data center and the three infrastructure pillars: SAN, Network and Server
- virtualization tools and concepts (VmWare)
- deep understanding of Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)
- Nexus switches platforms
- Unix, Linux and Microsoft
- Netapp and EMC
- fluent English is a must
