Your role

We’re looking for someone like that to:
- support second-line-of-defense activities in relation to consequential risks
- perform analytical reviews and assessment of risk and control information
- make sure regulatory requirements and requests are dealt with in a disciplined, timely and efficient manner
- stay up on regulatory requirements and trends
- perform data mining analysis on collected data and reporting
Your team
You’ll be working in the Central Risk Services Department in the UBS office in Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park). As part of the Data Transfer Work Stream of the EU GDPR program the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, correlating and analysing the relevant data related with vendors. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new European Union (EU) regulation to protect and empower all EU citizens data privacy. Organizations processing Personal Identifying Information of EU citizens need to reach compliance with the regulation by May 2018.
Fixed-term contract till December 2017.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- experience in data analysis, validation and presentation of results (MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
- strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and distribute significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- understanding of Data Protection rules and Operational Risk Management or a strong interest to develop expertise in this area
You are:
- able to critically verify aspects of data protection and challenge documentation with an independent mindset
- quickly adaptable to changing business needs (you’re smart and flexible)
- well organized, detail oriented, with the ability to collect results, coordinate tasks and lead small projects
- fluent in English
