Location: Kraków
Job Description:
- Participation in different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design;
- Delivery of high quality code deliverables;
- Validation for all types of testing and support activities;
- Playing a role of a technical leader for the team (lead level).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
- At least 5 years of experience Software Project life cycle activities of software maintenance
- At least 6 years of experience with excellent technology understanding of Oracle database, Oracle Forms, DB2 and Firebird
- At least 6 years of experience in design of data table structures, forms, reports, and queries on Oracle, Firebird and UDB/DB2
- At least 4 experience on developing applications or reports using Oracle Forms
- Recent experience in building and supporting oracle database applications. At least 2 successful development & deployment experience is required
- Recent experience is analyzing databases performance and database tuning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and fluent knowledge of English
- Strong client-facing presentation and communication skills
Preffered:
- Understanding and usage of SQL Server and UDB
- In-depth knowledge of MS Access.
- Good to have experience in Insurance domain.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
